Why do I think what is? A. Why did the school have a segregation program? B. Why did they apologize? C. Why are they allowing white kids in now? >>>All of the above. Apparently your reading skill is not high enough to take information from a news article, or video. A. The letter home to parents said the program was for All Students of Color. The district spokes person said it was designed that way, "To address the needs that students of color may need." B. After CBS4 broke the story, the district (Aurora schools) apologized and corrected the message in response to the media coverage. This was the politically smart and right thing to do. Another Colorado School "Mary Blair Elementary' in a different district (Loveland Schools) is under fire for kicking a 7 year old out for throwing an imaginary grenade at an imaginary evil enemy while playing 'Save the World' on the playground. When the media broke the story the Mary Blair Elementary Admin and the District Spokespeople began a Smear campaign on the Mother and the kid for daring to question their conduct. Really, Really dumb move on the part of the Mary Blair Elementary fools. See the difference? Come clean and everybody goes back to work, try to cover and smear and you only get burned by your own heat. C. Because the school/district realized they were facing a losing battle. Which all has nothing to do with my opinion. My thoughts here are based on available facts.
