I disagree. There is little need from the majors/intermediate players. Back in '08 they were in far worse shape cash wise and I think you could/would have been more concerned then. They didn't do it then, they won't do it now. They understand from a sentiment standpoint alone what that would do to their shareprices/sector. Again I see the reverse happening I just don't know when, how much and to what degree it'll spread.

I think if hedge books come back into fashion, or if supply starts to be held back, then there's going to be a long period of mediocrity. When oil tankers started to hover in the harbors waiting for oil to go up, that signaled the end of that big party. Seriously, if a lot of companies are doing this (I heard about one already), then that doesn't jive very well with demand going through the roof.
