Deflation winning LT or at least gov letting prices revert to "normal". I see zero chance of that happening. Obama's latest speech/stance is going away from any spending cuts whatsoever despite the economy being in "recovery mode". Gold does not peak with asset levels (gold as a % of the whole) globally at 1%-3% depending on how you measure. Costs may continue to rise for the group but there will be stellar exceptions. Continued debasement is the only route or entire status quo comes to a grinding halt globally. I'm not worried about gold LT, but perception of the sector, new laws, more nationalization of mines, new taxes are my bigger concerns within the sector. Short term though all there are plenty of things to worry about (mostly technical).
