Was wondering if there was any mention of ECM being taken out as well in the near future, once drill results are known? I'm trying to place ECM's role in this complex equation. Thanks.

Garry

I, and likely others, would like to hear the names of these better bargains. BGO taking out STAR is a pretty safe bet for this market. Thanks for your news.

Doug:

Glad to hear Bishop finally got something right (the best deal they could have gotten, that is) and Day is right on; the deal isn't what we wanted but its a hell of a lot better than what could be had a week later and I, for one, am relieved that Bema has (will have) 49% of financed ozs instead of wondering how CC is going to be financed in this market, or waiting to be taken over at US$3.00 when the standstill agreements expire.

I will be surprised if Bema attempts to take out Star at these levels. The wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Star stockholders who think they should get C$20-25 for their stock would be deafening. Bema doesn't need those headaches right now. I think they will take them over at some point, but not down here. They should have merged 6 months ago.
