Anything can be imagined but this really doesn't make much sense. Re the flagellum for instance, the claim is there are other cell features in other bacteria that are somewhat similar but are involved in very different functions. That's not relevant ... it's like seeing a design feature on a honda and another somewhat similar on a ford that does something very different and inferring one of the cars evolved from the other.

so we have here an emergent reality after all)
