Whether they preannounce or not remains to be seen. The conference call, in lieu of recent pricing pressures, however, will tell the real story. I don't think the market will take well to it.

Theater System

December 4, 1997 (SEOUL) -- Kasan Electronics Co.,
Ltd., a leading multimedia manufacturer in Korea, will
introduce a home theater system that can be installed in personal
computers.

The company said the entertainment package will consist of a digital
video disk (DVD) board, DVD-ROM drive, sound card and speakers.

The six-channel dolby surround speakers will be produced by Korean
audio manufacturer Namsung Corp. and supplied to Kasan, a company
spokesman said.

Kasan said its home theater package will come with a number of
DVD-ROM titles and will retail at about 630,000 won (US$560).
