Liberals believe that government should do something about that.

That would be a good thing from a quick glance, but today's liberal politicians see it as pandering to gain votes while never doing anything about it.

How much money has Obama given his cronies only for them to go bankrupts?

Or should we look at the govt agencies in which their management drew outlandish salaries while their offices burned through taxpayer funds faster than they could get them? (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc)

True.

And it can be very difficult for a BOD of admit it made a lousy decision. Still, that's the way corporate management works and I can see absolutely zero nexus between a BOD paying a CEO whatever they think it is worth vs. doing the same with hourly employees.

If a BOD gives new CEO 20M plus a golden parachute and he/she is a failure, I'm not sure what that has to do with the pay levels of hourly employees. If a management believes they can get better value by paying more (e.g., Costco) then they should do it. If they believe they get better value with minium wage, they should do that.

After all, government overpays for MOST of its employees -- they are hardly an example of the correct way to do it...
