I was expecting a decline much earlier, and it is left to be seen if today starts one. Here is a chart

of the 2-hourlies. It's anybody's guess how and where we bounce, but ideally I would like to see 1470 +/- 10 points or so before we renew an attack on all-time market highs ..... and I am almost certain we will.

The thin sloping red line is actually a delayed version of how I thought we may decline and even that now looks premature. The eternal male preoccupation. :)

It will probably be very choppy and volatile, but I think we could see that gap between the end of December and the beginning of January get filled or approached, that's a BIG gap...
