I agree with your assessment APA and have it on my watch list. The only thing I would add is that CVX has a strong presence in Asia and will be a good marketing partner for APA.

The entire LNG scenario in British Columbia is pretty murky and will take years to play out. The below links provide a glimpse of the major players proposing and/or proceeding with projects in BC.

One outcome of this, I imagine, is that state enterprises will acquire more land so as to vertically integrate their projects. The Pacific Northwest project is a case in point.

The proposed LNG export tax will further cloud the timelines for these projects.
