Hi GZ, Chip has that Boston...... Money Management frame of reference..... Boston was the Money Management capital until well after the Civil War....... I was just re reading the Go Go Sixies and the rise of Gerry Tsai( the first stock trader extraoridaire, who was working at Fidelity back in the first half of the 1960's) Tsai too was drawn to Edwin Leferve's " Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, which I have read was initially serialized and came out in weekly installments of the Saturday Evening Post.

( Much like Ida Tarbell's serialized account of the activities of the Standard Oil Company.... in say 1902...1903)

Back to Chip and what is in the water up in Cambridge and the other water tributaries.....

You find more individuals that have these generations of upbringing and understand how to put money management and investing in a Bostonian perspect, and one does not get that in other parts of the country......

whether, it's the blood lines, the culture in which they are raised....... the 4 distinct seasons....... the ability to wander over to Bunker Hill and reflect on where the cradle of the Republic was nutured........ and I think it's a think stew of them all ......mixed together and then slow cooked..... much like a glorious Clam Chowder....

I am convinced that the denizens of this illustrious area ..... have learned life lessons from their parents by the age of 5 that so many of us "other" folks spend a lifetime chasing these attributes.

my very best,

John
