Dear Ron, I'm very disappointed with "Mr Mirkin". He seems to be getting discouraged more easily of late, and is really slowing down. The following countermeasures have been put into effect, one by one: a) Registration Captcha b) Registration E-mail verification c) Robust Deputy Admin corps with access to new registrations and roasting capabilities d) Link deadening e) <SECRET> method 1 f) <SECRET> method 2 I'm unhappy that "Mr Mirkin" has been slowing down because secret countermeasure (f) may turn out to be the most powerful to date. If you have ever visited a country where the water isn't flouridated or regulated quite as well as it is here in the USA, and wonder why all the visitors get horribly sick while the residents do not, you may begin to understand why SI needs Mr Mirkin to keep at it. I am truly enjoying this cat and mouse. We will toughen up our defences so good that spammers like "Mr Mirkin" will regret the day they set foot on SI. Regards, @Dima
