The silver lining of sequestration hysteria
from Breitbart Feed
George Will becomes the latest level-headed observer to sneer in utter disgust at Obama's sequestration hysteria:

The sequester has forced liberals to clarify their conviction that whatever the government’s size is at any moment, it is the bare minimum necessary to forestall intolerable suffering. At his unintentionally hilarious hysteria session Tuesday, Obama said: The sequester’s “meat-cleaver approach” of “severe,” “arbitrary” and “brutal” cuts will “eviscerate” education, energy and medical research spending. “And already, the threat of these cuts has forced the Navy to delay an aircraft carrier that was supposed to deploy to the Persian Gulf.”

We're all familiar with the long, long laundry list of essential services Obama has claimed would be shut down if we chop $85 billion off our $3.6 trillion federal budget - a cut Will weighs as exactly 2.3 percent of the budget.

So I've got a suggestion: let's find the guy who has been keeping education, energy research, medical research, the Navy, firefighters, meat inspections, public parks, and all the other stuff Obama whines about, running all these years - for a mere $85 billion - and make him President. It's absolutely amazing what that particular $85 billion has been accomplishing, isn't it? The people spending that indispensible 2.3 percent of the federal budget should be managing the whole damn thing. We'd have the deficit wiped out in a month, and the national debt paid down soon thereafter.
