No, credit lines certainly aren't keeping the market up, but they do allow a lower cash position during times of daily cash uncertainties. I was suggesting wht the level of cash in funds might not be a good indicator due to changes that have occured in the way cash is managed in funds, as well as an increase in the percentage of funds made up of index funds that run a low cash balance.
