Taught at my alma mater shortly before I was there... although I didn't have the good sense to take his class, even if he had been still teaching.

Bravo, JS you are quite a philosopher and INHO you express your thought in a very logical detailed and eloquent manner e. i. straight to the point. It has been my privilege to follow your contributions on SI.

I do realize that it was Joseph Campbell who coined the phrase of "follow your bliss"
I have mentioned I am extrapolating ..... I do believe I got the gist of it
