COT says POG is finished? .............................. ................................... Friday, OA OI dropped -528 to 446,292 on a day when POG lost -5.80. Must be a bad sign, COT finally dropped, death and destruction just around the corner, LC's 1400 range and then 900's, surely? Oh, but you know me, I like to look under the hood and see if the engine is still running. What a silly idea... So Friday we saw OI in the Feb contract drop -1577! [to 196 total OI] Huh? You mean one contract is responsible for the drop in OA OI? How can that be? This stuff is crazy! eh, forget this COT stuff, let's stick with what the experts tell us! OK, so no one prolly cares about this little fact.... Metals Contracts Last Trade Dates: GC Fut Feb13 02/26 So let's move on.... "Front month" Apr contract added +2890 of OI to 264,423, Jun OI dropped -186, Aug OI dropped -1128. So short time players added and IT term players dropped. eh, this COT stuff - Fuggedddaboudit!
