I don't know anyone who thinks that "Marxism" works for economies for countries, though locally some of the principles can work for example in "worker owned" business cooperatives, things like that.

For the 100,000 time, its about a mixed economy. its about checks, balances, and preventing social waste.

Please ask those 99% who got government school loans, have a business that has used the court system to protect intellectual and real property, has kids or grandkids in public schools, likes breathable air and clean water, transports goods over public roads, desires food standards and inspections, wants to know the building they are in is built and upgraded to codes; hires people who are educated in the real world, appreciates the police, fire and armed services sacrifices (whether they are atheists or LDS.)

We are a mixed economy. Part free markets part regulated with community investment in infrastructure and standards, etc. Lose the strawman argument its about making it work together for the greatest life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for the citizens -- and without destroying the planet and the ecology.
