Selling puts on an oversold accidental high yielder is also a conservative strategy, IMO.

The opportunity to pick up an accidentally high yielding stock like WAG at $29, DRI in the low 40's, NSC in the low 60's, EMR in the mid 40's seems to me to be an excellent value strategy, but I defer to those who run the site. There are other forums to discuss those ideas.
