The only time anyone teaches children traditional values is when they learn it at home, or possibly at church. Almost all teachers are now leftists who want to use their time to indoctrinate children rather than providing the education they deserve.

Ask your youngest descendents if this is not so. As them about global warming, muslim terror versus Israeli's defending themselves. Ask them about the sanctity of life. Ask them about gay marriage. etc.

We can only raise our children to a certain point. After that they are responsible for their own journey. We probably have much more able children than most families. Mine have grown being exposed to values of personal responsibility and seem to display that characteristic. Yours sound like they have been given the opportunity to learn self reliance.
