Mannie's pictures are so interesting to me - I only knew most of those folks through the net on CPQ board and Voltaire's porch. I came on the CPQ forum just to pick up some non propaganda about Compaq...they were acquiring Digital and in particular our Worldwide Services organization where I worked. They were feeding us so much crap about how good they were in order to keep us from bolting....we were very skeptical. It was interesting reading about Compaq on the thread before it moved to SI. It was Polvy who reached out to me and asked me to move to SI and the NNBM. You all had such interesting backgrounds and points of view of the world...it was a whole new world to me being part of a networked group on the web (I still use one of my original passwords for SI). It was the CPQ board that confirmed by choice to leave Compaq...I was so glad I did. So long ago eh? Altair19
