So now we're going to have DOD engage in combat operations and kill all Global polluters who "threaten" our national environmental security?

Will they lock them all up in concentration camps and cease their personal CO2 emissions forever?

Geezus.. this is so ridiculous... The primary mission of our armed forces are to break things on a large, or when necessary, small, scale.. Kill enemies who are trying to kill us, destroy their infrastructure and ability to resist our will.. etc..

But now we're going to demote our military leadership from General Mayhem to Captain Planet? Give me a break..

This is nothing more than one huge example of "Mission Creep".. Looking for a new mission to justify expenditures.

It's good to see a focus on clean energy. I wish more people were aware of how inexpensive it is to generate their own electricity. Some people are even taking themselves off the grid altogether now. There are some great guides out there on how to do this, some of which are listed on this site www.diyenergyreview.com if you’re interested?
