A word of caution. The $8.5 million cited refers to Westernbank expenditures of which NRi, and I do mean "i", will get a piece and I do mean smaller.

My guess, this news is intended to cushion the up coming perferred stock financing.

I'd be a seller into any good news. Plenty of time to buy back at lower prices.

FWIW: I saw a demo of SAF/NT back in May (at the reston? NRI office in Virginia) and it was pretty good but it did have a glitch in the screen saver. I would imagine its been fixed by now though.
