I approve of all the modest defense cuts. A long as all the social cuts fall on red states the hardest, I'm fine with them too.

I don't like what it will do to the economy. It's the wrong time to be cutting. But that will fall hardest on the poor red states too, and the Republicans will take the blame. Republicans are already less popular than herpes with new voters.

It will be well beyond 5t before the ten year term of the sequester is over.

Still irrelevant to this particular discussion, and misleading in more than one way.

Personally, I don't care where it comes from. I just wish it were it were more significant. Obviously, it would be best if the cuts targeted useless depts like education and HHS.

I have a sense that the country is about to learn a lesson in keynesian economics in reverse. Particularly troubling considering the fact that the economy is regaining its footing and the last thing it needs now is negative stimulus.
