So, can you explain how in hell you expect a project like this to EVER return its investment?

Or do you just not acknowledge that there needs to be some reasonable value received by the taxpayer for a project like this?

The traffic corridor between LA and SF is one of the most heavily traveled. There are nearly 40 million people in the state. I-5 is bumper to bumper along many stretches of the freeway between the two cities. The need for more travel options is great. That's the return.

You people are some of the slowest, most reactive people on the planet.........you shouldn't concern yourself with matters that are above your pay grade.

Would you have supported the Big Dig if there were going to be 100 drivers a day after it was completed?
