Hi Linda,

I've learned everything right here....I guess I've been on this thread for about three months now? (I was lurking for a while before I started posting)

I actually really enjoy this stuff; I have an analytical mind and I never guessed that the stock market worked the way it does....I love seeing the interplay of emotion and fundamentals, which TA seems to open a hidden window into.

The best book I've read by far is "How to Make money in stocks" by Oneill -- i'd highly recommend it to everyone -- it's not expensive either.

Anyway, I also read IBD every day which I've learned a lot from.
I've been also tackling Pring's TA book, slowly but surely.

But paying tremendous attention to everything Doug says here is what has helped me the most. I save every one of his TA posts for later review. I study all the POW picks and try to apply all the techniques Doug talks about to them. One day I hope to be able to find picks of POW quality on my own, but until then, I am learning as fast as I can!

Thanks a lot for the complement. I've really enjoyed reading your posts too!

-dave
