Things are looking better with the possibility of the US becoming energy independent. And there are some technology innovations that are wild cards.
Agree about those riding the wagon, they seem to own the politicians on both sides.

As a country we are blessed with great natural resources,
"our government" very loosely applied doesn't work for
"our people".

People pulling or riding need to change places every
so often, otherwise it all breaks down regardless of
how "smart" the riders are.
