I have MetaStock, TC2000 and Windows on Wall street. I've been performing TA for several years at a very sophisticated level. I done numerous studies trying to quantify repeatability of moves based on price/volume patterns, oscillators in combo with momentem indicators yada yada yada to the point of exhaustion. 200 day and 50 day moving averages are about a simple as you can get and don't mean much. Try using TRIX for a more intense moving average study. It's not wise to place bets on TA. You win, You loose, You win You loose... If your lucky, before you die, you break even. cheers MEATHEAD
