Pat, I'm sure that you're just doing this day-trading to prove a point and also to "test the water". The recent tight spreads we've had lately may not be the right situation but I wish you luck anyway. I did it and short term I was successful, until the market turned sour and I found myself up to my neck with "cost-averaged" stocks which turned me into a short-termer for a few months. To each his/her own and it can be done if you have the time to sit in front of screens. Do post your transactions. You have at least one reader in me. G'luck, SM
