Of everything I ever learned in my life, existentialism isn't any of them. I can barely spell the world. I don't feel deprived. Control theory is much more valuable.

I am, therefore I think, I think.

The concept of the feedback loop to control the dynamic behavior of the system: this is negative feedback, because the sensed value is subtracted from the desired value to create the error signal, which is amplified by the controller.

One of the great things that the #6 Cal Bears women's basketball team hears from their coaches is to "play in the moment." Imagine how far we have come in this culture.

When they are on the court running plays and defending, they open up, the micromanaging and coaching stops. The unconditional mutual support and spirit of individuals in a collective group takes over. Its amazing to watch it unfold. Extreme, physical, spiritual, mental, transcendent at times.

Now I know other teams with great talent but the coach is screaming orders and keeping control while plays are running. Quite the metaphor for our daily lives and voices we hear from within and without. They may win too, on superior raw talent, but IMHO it is sub optimized.

Oh, and Go Bears!!
