All we have now is the Internet, 3D Printing, Higgs Boson, the Science, technology and the opportunity to explore the universe and give us a chance for a better life.

I will make that trade any time. Women, minorities, lgbt, and others didn't have it that great.

i can remember 5 cent soda pops and "Twice as much for a nickle too" which was the Pepsi slogan because they gave you a gigantic 12 oz for a nickle compared ot the 6 oz Coke bottle. As seven year olds we always bought Pepsi from the machine at the YMCA after swimming lessons so we would have plenty of "ammo" for burping contests on the way home.

Was that back when kids would mow lawns for 50 cents?

I remember 32 cent gas; I was making $680/ month at the time. I remember $1.00 gas; it was the next month, and I was still making $680. The summer before that, I was making $3/ hr in a unionized cannery.
