I guess I look at it as the market equivalent of "going for the big bucks" by reprocessing previously processed tailings...

It's not that there isn't any value there... but, how much do you really care ?

As far as looking at it for a trade... I'll trade the charts... and not care as much about fundamentals, when my holding period is going to be inside the time line on which bad stuff is likely to happen.

But, that's what I started off with here... thinking that the chart isn't fully ripe, yet... while also not finding it worth my time to dig into doing serious DD while the problems are being "developed"...

Part laziness, surely... but, easier to just wait and see what happens, here... and when you don't own it, its easy to be patient waiting for another 50% off sale...

I'll gladly agree minerals generally should be a lot closer to a bottom than a peak, now... if that helps... but, given they were the obvious subject of a recent market bubble, perhaps the REE stocks just aren't ready to be the poster child for market speculation again for a while...

And if you're bottom fishing (as I'm want to do) the slaughter in mining stocks recently has left a lot of solid producers out there who've been beaten down almost as badly as MCP, or worse, and when those others are firing on all cylinders, without the odd shimmy, and without all the weird noises coming from the transmission ?

Look at my other posts today... and you'll find a similarly priced stock that I think might prove a lot more interesting in the next year or two... and should deliver a decent performance with less risk ?
