Basically what the two polls put together are saying is we want lots of stuff and while we worry about debt we don't want to make the hard choices. Like the child walking down the Lego aisle at Toyland and picking out box after box of new Legos to take home because he doesn't have to make the hard choices limited by the money in his pocket.
