Ahoy Shipmates!! Sandy and all, I agree with Sandy's concern to provide information to current and potential investors on the thread as long as the information is published and available for public access. A couple of weeks ago, there was a lot of anticipation about the USA Today article. Thoughts were that it would put Cyclopss on the map, by giving the company additional exposure, and cause the stock to move. The company had carefully orchestrated interviews with the media in an effort to inform the public on alternate methods of cleaning food. I am not certain if the timing of the article was of significance but I know alot of work was put forth by both Bill Stoddard and Melinda Ballard to educate the reporter that other methods existed...and that ozone was one of them. The company thought the article would be released early in the week. When the day came and passed a call was made to USA Today to find out who was working on the article. The reporter was asked if and when the article would be printed. She got spooked by the fact someone, both outside her organization and not affiliated with Cyclopss, was aware of her project. This almost caused her to leave out the side article about Cyclopss. After days of discussion and damage control the company convinced the reporter to print the article. The lessons learned are simple: 1. If it is "in the works", not printed, published or made public....LEAVE IT ALONE. Inquiries can only screw up the efforts of others. I know this, reluctantly, from personal experience. 2. If the information is made public and is not under copyright protection then publish it. This is the information age...make it available and spread the news! 3. As members of the Ozone thread it would be prudent to consult the company or their designated representatives (ie. Melinda Ballard, Mondis Nkoy or Anita Brown) before engaging in any act which may give the appearance that you are affiliated with the company...either as an employee or an investor. Good intentions can have drastic consequences that may not have been anticipated by the originator. Think before you act and consider not only the first order consequences but the second and third order consequences as well. I don't want to come across as preaching but take the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others. If we are smart and work together as a team we can help the company by keeping the investors and future investors informed. Take care and have a good weekend. GO OZONE!!!!!!!!! Captain P.S. Brenda, I don't have the fax feature set up on my computer yet but will work on it tonight. I will send you an email when it is up and running. I have the capability to scan the document here at school and will make it available as soon as I get my hands on it.
