"I wasn't a forced retiree." Don't delude yourself.....it feels much better when you come to terms with it....and when you consider what you would have been working for if you hung on for a couple more years considering your buy out... I know dozens like you who insist they could have stayed on.......just be honest with yourself. And then ask who would let you work to an older SS age..... Never been a problem financially for me Brumey, many others can't say the same.
