There are some kinds of knowledge that are very expensive to acquire... nuclear weapon building is not without trouble (thankfully). All sorts of information about stable states for Pu and U are secrets including how to machine it into spheres. These are big fuzzy atoms and they don't have the same properties as common materials. A lot of this science prevents the creation of high yield weapons without possessing or acquiring a lot of knowledge that is currently held secret. I think this information should not be readily available. There is no reason why the technology of how to build a "pit" (nuclear core) should be common knowledge.

Similarly, there is a lot of secret information about space flight that cost a lot to develop and involved a lot of costly mistakes. We are not benefited by having China in space and being able to guide heavy payloads accurately. There is a reason why not a lot of countries have active space programs. Giving it away was stupid. Not liking the Repub agenda doesn't canonize Clinton or make everything he did justified. I couldn't be a moderate but progressive free thinker if everyone got a pass just 'cuz they are or were a Democrat.
