Much of space technology is still secret. There are a handful of countries that can do it with the precision required to reach the moon or return the payload to the Earth. Moving an object 25 times the speed of sound through the atmosphere is not off-the-shelf technology. The more people and countries that know the less safe we are. I like that North Korea is failing on that front. They are still working on the payload.
