The story makes it appear he was outside the store and was almost hit by the shoplifter fleeing in a car - that's the part he claims justifies his drawing his gun. The cops say the video shows otherwise.

Either way drawing a gun and asking someone to freeze is more like playing cop than self defense.

You draw the gun to shoot them - you don't give warnings or orders.

He's got some fines and a loss of permit ahead of him.

I'm pretty sure the CC permit training would prevent that.

I think that training is a good idea .. without it, liberals might think about carrying and they'd probably shoot at every church they see.
