I think you may be right. I'd guess taht "loose", as in "to loose money", is the most frequently misspelled word on SI. But let's not forget the their/there/they're problem, and widespread difficulties with the Dreaded Apostrophe.

Saw another great one recently: "we should prey for the market to go up".

Wee-ll, I'm certainly a lot looser than I was, say, even five years ago.
And my glorious (in the Klingon sense - more courage than survival sense) long positions are sure not loosing fresh cash upon my groaning Schwab!
