There was no argument. In a discussion of global warming and the question of human impact, you referenced a time in the past when the climate was much changed--as though that had something to do with the question. Of course, it has nothing to do with the question. It is childish and simply evades honest discussion.

Nature has acted in the past (and will again in the future) to change the climate so drastically that no life is even possible--never mind comnfortable. These facts have absolutely nothing to do with the question being discussed. Nobody is claiming that humans impacted the climate in any significant way at any time prior to the combination of human population growth and human industrialization.

So it is either ignorant or insincere to introduce such straw men. Take your choice.
