Jerome, I set up a scan on stockcharts.com and 75 NDX stocks out of 100 pass the screen. The screening algorythm is For the last market close: [TYPE IS STOCK] AND [TODAY'S SMA(12,CLOSE) > TODAY'S SMA(200,CLOSE)] AND [TODAY'S SMA(25,CLOSE) > TODAY'S SMA(200,CLOSE)] AND [GROUP IS NASDAQ100] Here's the list [work in progress - have not checked for mistakes yet] Now to add a condition that the cross must have occurred in the last 5 or 10 days. Have to think how to do that. I've added a condition that the cross criteria was NOT met 20 days ago and ATVI is the only NDX stock that passed. This eliminates stocks that met the criteria months ago and now are too high to buy. For the SP100 HPQ T KO and VZ passed the screen. Any suggestions? Screen [type is stock] and [today's sma(12,close) > today's sma(200,close)] and [today's sma(25,close) > today's sma(200,close)] and [group is NASDAQ100] and [20 days ago SMA(12) < sma(200)]
