The timing of that program on CNN last night of Waco Texas brought back much in perspective, some charmed self styled prophet claiming to know the meaning or Revelations 22 which speaks of standing in the presence of the Lord where a running clear river flows from that throne in which stands a shining Tree which to anyone with half a brain would see the correlation to the Tree of Life revelation of science itself. But not so with these people who could not even figure out that the revelation may itself have pointed to planting more trees themselves than dwelling on making weapons fully automatic as a religious end. That would be too simple , too righteous , too realistic & simply creative moral way spend energies, instead opt for what is demented & demeaning.

One is reminded clearly by that Waco Texas siege of what is one of the main discussions of our time which is what are the truths & fallacies about religious belief, what is known about the realm of reality & defining the world now, especially since Iran/ Iraq war, Middle East conflicts into Desert Storm then the attacks of 9/11 present a world under siege between modernity & medievalism and what was always political & territorial based ie: Nature not Supernatural.

One notes how quickly brumar slinks off here after being directly schooled again, off brooding somewhere, but Waco Texas did happen, 9/11 did happen, Syrian civil war, Israel/Iran confrontations those millions dying in Iraq Iran wars, these are not hallucinations they are real happenings.

He has shattered the last hiding places of the superstitious.

One looks at the narrative itself --->"God gave his only begotten Son" <---- is just too childish for words ,few have really believed it for centuries, we see this starting with the deist founding fathers of America but also we have the same exact thing found in Islam with the Last Prophet nonsense & those superstitions. These were stories intended to convey some meaning & capture that awe for the time they were constructed when they knew so little of the physical world, the best they could dream up.

Not to say that there aren't great mysteries that are already shown within the material universe which men divined in the composition of matter to micro/quantum level for which all other phenomena are derived on any scale. And as we have found out that scale is vast, much vaster than any idea of God can comprise, much vaster than any prophet or messiah could have even begun to imagine.

There is a certain slavery entailed with the tarnished original sin idea, that made mockery of men & life & the reality. New stories & understandings are now getting written & times are changing why you see the fits & throes the world is in, a new take on the world, the old one of childish fables is dying , preserved only by geographical & enforced social barrier.

But those barriers are not barriers any longer, via internet.
