The projected rate of production is some 280 milliom LBs a year (almost exactly what INCO had to purchase to meet its contracts last year). It is figured there is 7 years open pitting at this rate before they have to go underground at all. During this period the metal credits for the cobalt, copper etc should cover operating costs, ergo the nickel is profit. Lets see 280 MM * say $3.00. Project a share price from that and you get a interesting number.
