Like I said, a high-wire act!
Penn West has at least three headwinds I can think of, the strong Can. $, low price of gas, and the lower price of Can crude vs w Texas. What I meant by the wheels coming off is if the price of oil falls a lot. They have several ways of raising money before they cut the div (or dilute, heaven forbid), but if the business starts doing really well and they can reinvest money profitably, and they get market recognition, then they might cut. I wish Murray Edwards would get involved again, but that is a faint hope.
