Ultimately generational values are probably at work here for us here and our respective opinions, and as us geezers pass into the sunset your day in the sun will arrive if it hasn't already. It is definitely not good form to attribute your values to me. Keep your values for yourself. You're not taking responsibility for your own values by blaming your "generation". Surely, you acknowledge the established cultural trends as identified by the terms "X"ers and "Y" ers etc. In any event I thought made clear that it was my primarily my opinion I was expressing. And I attribute some of my attitude on the subject and as to my differences with the younger and more open generation coming up behind me. If you don't like that then I see it as a function of your own values.
