You got lucky...So many "what if's" in relation to BIOS, OS, ports and other configuration issues for the system as well as that modem. A good one, IMO where a knowledgable tech might get that int. USRob. modem up and running in 30 minutes. I would take it back for full refund now, thank Win95 and find the extra com port. <g> Best Wishes to all.... and pardon the <off topic> ps: Who was it that predicted INTC at 200 by years end. Hmmm. Fun isn't it?
