That's insane thinking. The first lady gracing the Oscars is a great nod to how influential the movies are in our lives. And she'd only be "horning in" if she hadn't been invited. The only people who didn't like it were the wingnuts (and you)- who don't like anything the Obama's do, and especially not stuff that might make them even more popular. "Oh look, the Obamas are breathing- what hoity toity uppity semi black folks they are, for breathing all over the place."

There are some real criticisms to be made of this administration- although I'm perfectly happy, so I'm not going to make them- but Michelle (sorry about dropping the l, Sioux) and the Oscars seems to me an utterly ridiculous one.
