I think you and the rest of the regressives are the only one's who care. Many of the regressives feel being first lady is not a proper role for a black woman. Since she IS the first lady, many of them feel she should be Caesar's wife on steroids. Tough for them! Go Michelle! We're not going to agree on this. I think your use of the word "regressive" is an unwarranted pejorative. I, by an large support the Democratic platform and agenda, and it is because I do care about the Obamas and want them to succeed that I feel free to offer criticism if I feel they are straying from those items that will let them do so. I do acknowledge that the culture has become "People" instead of "Time" except I think that is change for the worst--it may be that the Obamas are far more in turne with the cultlure than I am in which case they have nothing to worry about .
