To all, I have been away on a project but managed to get connected momentarily. I was told about 4 months ago not to expect Cal Reed to stay after the production has been successfully set up, as was the case with automated production of computer disk drives for Seagate.. As it was explained, it was never his intent to stay on to run things afterward. I also understand that Lev Dawson, who is the original founder of Valence and previously founded Fairchild Camera, was quite pleased with the decision to set up the laminating plant in house and to make some (proprietary) modifications. I believe we will find him a souce of new energy and direction. I was also recently updated and Q1 '98 for commercial production is still on target. In summary, I believe all our reasons for buying in the 7's, 8's and 9's are still intact. I am now directing all available funds to own as much Valence as possible.
