I think the UK market has a completely different mindset. For example Championship Manager from EIDOS which was #2 I believe, will probably stuggle to make the top 30 in the U.S. Also, Virgin the biggest player in the UK has a very small market share in the US. Plus, which one of GT's major competitors from the U.S. is doing well over there i.e.(Activision, Electronic Arts, CUC) none of them are. EA had a soccer game at #5 but soccer is not nearly as popular in the states. So I don't know how much you can read into this. Although I do find it interesting.
