I'm in complete agreement with you here, but it won't happen. A lot of liberal (D)'s have no knowledge of guns whatsoever, just fear of them. I'm recalling B. Boxer's confusion, not knowing the difference between a semi-automatic and a full automatic, yet writing gun control laws. It's as stupid in it's own way as many of the (R) doubters of evolution and climate change being on science committees in congress.
