Stefan: Clearly the timing stinks, and barring any further shoes to drop it's now apparent that those in the know knew this news would have a significant negative impact, so perhaps they took such profits as they could expecting to buy back in at lower levels. If true, then so far the first part of that strategy is executing brilliantly. As to why CR/VLNC decided to announce this now? I haven't a clue, but I agree it doesn't indicate any "marketing sense" from the decision makers. But having said that, isn't that exactly what we've been complaining about recently, ie. the poor market sense, lack of a willingness to give a "group hug" to shareholders by the likes of CR? If so, then is this news timing really all that surprising?

Also, per a implicite comment from another poster, given VLNC's radical fall, I'd expect lot'sa day trader type of activity with the stock at these levels. You know, those that buy in at $5.5 and get out at $6.5 to $7.5. Clearly there's a massive ceiling building around that upper level. And until I hear corporate announced OEM agreements, I may just play that game to, I well positioned to make some coinage by exercising that strategy until the commercial reality becomes clear.

Regards!

John~
